Look closely, and you can see the remains of a "real" egg to the right of Daniel's shoe. We had colored 4 real hard boiled eggs. We hid those eggs too, but it didn't take Daniel long to figure out that the real eggs had no candy in them. He didn't want anything to do with eggs without candy, so the real eggs quickly got tossed aside.
