Mia is sporting her new pink hat. Mia had a well baby check last week. At 5 1/2 months old, she weighs 19 1/2 pounds. That's in the 97% for weight for girls her age. At least we know she is eating well. Posted by Picasa
When Mia is napping, Daniel and I go out to the balcony and play. He is on his truck, one of his favorite "outside"toys. His right hand is on his sippy cup. The other cup sitting beside the sippy has in it a stick, a dead bug, some dirt... you know, the usual boy stuff. Posted by Picasa
We've been working on potty training a little. Daniel's progressed from refusing to sit on the potty at all, to occasionally using the potty. To make it more fun, I will read to him or play games while sitting on the potty. This particular day, Daniel was having lots of fun "hiding" under his playschool mat from Mom. Posted by Picasa

This was one of the FEW pictures I got of Daniel. He is so busy and active, I can't get him to sit still long enough to take a picture. Posted by Picasa
More and more people ask if our kids are twins. Although Daniel is 19 1/2 months old and Mia is 5 1/2 months old, there is only a 5 pound weight difference between the two. Posted by Picasa

We go to a church service that meets on Saturday nights. After we change clothes and get ready to go, it makes for great "photo sessions". Posted by Picasa
Mia is 5 1/2 months old, so we are starting on a little cereal. She doesn't seem to like rice cereal, even with a little banana smashed in it. So we tried oatmeal cereal and that went a little better. I let her suck on a steamed zucchini the other day and she LOVED it. She ate a saltine cracker last night and liked that too. I guess I'll be getting out the food processor soon and begin making her food. Posted by Picasa

Mia is rolling both ways now, front to back and back to front. She is also scooting around quite a bit. Shane keeps telling me that she will probably be crawling soon. She can also sit for several minutes unassisted. My litte girl is growing up! Posted by Picasa
