Daniel is loving on his Sissy. He always wants to hold her hand or just put his arm on her. 

I am so happy to have captured this picture. I see this kind of closeness with them every day. Even though Daniel is only 19 months old and Mia is 5 months old, they know who each other are. They are always looking into each others eyes as if to say, "I love you too." 

I have a basket that I keep some kitchen things in. Daniel likes to empty the basket, then sit and play in it. (Please do not look at the huge pile of mess and toys in the background of this picture.) 

Shane is speding some quiet time with Mia. She sat in his lap and played with his face for a long time. It was very sweet. 

Daniel is smiling so big that his cheeks expand past his face. 

Mia is nearly 5 months old and is wearing her new, pretty green dress while sitting in her rocking chair from great-grandma Laura Emily. 

Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Sarah came to visit. Daniel is sitting on Grandpa's lap with a book. 

Grandpa and Daniel reading together. Daniel loves his books and knows all of his favorites. I can ask Daniel to get any of his favorite books by title and he will pick it out of a stack of books and bring it to you to read. 

Daniel and Grandpa had so much fun playing together. Grandpa felt rather adventurous and climbed into Daniel's school bus.

We decided to take the kids to the park for a picnic and a little 4th of July fun. 

Daniel loves his bubbles. I've tried so many times to capture his face while chacing his bubbles around, but it is kinda like trying to take a picture of a bee darting in and out of flowers. I assure you, his face has the look of pure bliss and excitement as he tries to catch his bubbles. 

We had so much fun playing at the park the evening of the 4th of July.
