A family favorite dinner is mixed bean soup cooked with ham in tomato juice. We love the flavor and the kids enjoy it as much as Shane and I. Mia did eat quite a lot of it, but also wore quite a lot. We picked her up from the chair and took her directly to the bathtub. Mmmm... Mmmm... Good! Posted by Picasa

Daniel did a much better job with dinner. Only a little got on his face. Posted by Picasa
The kids usually get a cup of milk and a story time before bed. We get books from the library every week and Daniel and Mia love for us to read. Here Mia is snuggling up with her Daddy. Posted by Picasa
Bathtime fun! The kids enjoy a nightly bath together. I love hearing them laugh as they play in the water. They seem like such good friends (most of the time). Posted by Picasa

Today was pretty warm for January, so we thought we'd take advantage of the weather and go to the park. The kids enjoyed being outside and playing. I put Mia in Daniel's old jeans and two pair of socks and let her go on the ground. I think she spent as many calories as Daniel. Posted by Picasa
Mia's favorite thing to do at the park is swing. She loved swinging back and forth and laughed and giggled the whole time. Posted by Picasa
Daniel playing at the park. He turned 2 last month and is growing so fast in so many ways. He can climb the stairs at the park (and at home) by himself, he loves to go down the slide, and seems to have more energy every day. He is such a good boy and every day is so much fun. When we pulled up to the park, he got so excited and started pointing and yelling, "Slide! Slide!" Posted by Picasa
Mia walking around a dinosaur at the park. Mia will be one year next month and can take up to 5 or 6 steps at a time. She weighs 26 pounds and is wearing 18 to 24 months. I have recently started having to remove some of her winter size 18 month clothes because she has outgrown them. I am suprised when I put on her 24 months and 2T clothes and they fit! Posted by Picasa
Daniel playing in the playhouse at the park. He had a head trauma a few weeks ago that is finally healing. We called him "bullet wound" for awhile because it looked like he had been shot between the eyes. Posted by Picasa
