It temperature reached a balmy 28 degrees today. With no wind and plenty of cold weather gear, it was a pretty nice afternoon for playing in the park. Although I did not catch her smile, Mia enjoyed swinging on the tire.

The kids enjoy sledding. We haven't gone down a hill yet, but it's great fun when Mom pulls the sled and they ride in it like a wagon.

Mia loves her babies. She is rarely seen without her babies. She has an entire nursery that sleeps in bed with her at night, as well as several others that she plays with. This is a new baby that has a bottle and blanket. It is interesting how she loves on her babies and takes care of them. She'll make a good Mama some day, I'm sure.

My little man will be 3 years old next week . He is talking in short sentences, is very curious, and is developing a big imagination. He is very loving always giving and receiving hugs and kisses.

We really considered putting this picture in our Christmas cards. Looks like we were having fun, huh? After much time of putting up the tree, we happened to have a few "incidences" along the way. Daniel first broke a snow globe (water and snow went everywhere), followed by breaking an ornament which gave him a small cut on his finger. It took much consoling and a band aid to make it all better. Mia kept breaking the candy canes and trying to eat them with the plastic still on. After getting the tree decorated, I decided to vacuum the floor. Daniel ran ahead of me, bumped into the tree which knocked down some of the bead garland in front of the vacuum; the vacuum sucked up about 6 inches of beads which make the loudest noise I've every heard from a vacuum. Daniel ran screaming from the room, "NO MORE CHRISTMAS! NO MORE CHRISTMAS! NO MORE CHRISTMAS!" Well, we had to capture that family moment on film... and here it is. Merry Christmas!

Mia is 22 months old now. She is quickly out growing her 2T clothes! She is very active and has the typical "I can do it myself!" attitude.

One of Daniel's favorite activities at the Children's Museum is the firetruck. I am looking in the window at Daniel "driving" the truck and beeping its horn.

Mia was playing in the water at the Children's Museum. She loves splashing the boats and watching them float down stream.

Sunday afternoon, after church, the boys lay down for a rest. Zzzz...

Shane found a costume on sale after Halloween of a fireman. Daniel regularly wears the hat in the house, and sometimes on errands in town. We always get quite a few compliments on the hat if we wear it to town. Especially if he also choses to wear his rubber rain boots with the hat.

At one time, I could never get pictures of Daniel as he was too busy running around and would not stop for pictures. Now when Daniel sees the camera, he stops and gives me this cheesy grin. Mia, however, is now the one I can never get to stop long enough for a picture. This is her, handing me a leave she has found. She now has bangs. The rest of her hair is still wavy and flips around this way and that. Her eyes are closed, but it the best picture I have been able to get of her for awhile.

Grandpa picked out this dress for Mia. And he was right, she is adorable (in any dress).

Mia's pretty smile. She's 18 months old now and is as big as ever. She says, "I love you" and countless other words. She sleeps in a toddler bed now too.
